13.2. Languages used
Most posters to the newsgroup use English, but this is not
compulsory. Nowadays more and more people are posting in Japanese
codes. Roomaji (romanized Japanese) is acceptable, but if you
want to post Japanese codes, to reach the maximum audience, it is
recommended to use the iso-2022-jp (escape code) form, not shift-JIS,
EUC or UTF-8. See 11.3. Computing resources for more about the
different kinds of computer encoding.
