Japanese for Busy People II

This is a big step from the original Japanese for busy people. 6 tapes are also available.

Please allow me to speak ill of volume 2 (which I heard has been split into vols 2 and 3) of this book. The grammatical explanations are largely unhelpful to an American reader like me. On the other hand, if you're Japanese perhaps the explanations will make more sense. And if you have a teacher who can communicate well with you in your native language, this deficiency will not be so meaningful.

You should also check with your teacher about the numerous typos in the text.

The Practical English-Japanese Dictionary

A great dictionary, which is alas too small for general use. He tells you which definition he's giving you, and then gives the Japanese in romaji and in "normal Japanese script".
