JIS code

The JIS code (JIS kigō (JIS記号) of a kanji is similar to the KUTEN code except that it is usually written in hexadecimal format and the values of the JIS code are those of the KUTEN code with 32 added to each. For example, for the kanji {{kanji|亜}} :KUTEN: 16-01 :JIS code:3021
